Zubin has served leading banks, insurers, and private equity firms for over 30 years. He currently co-leads our global banking productivity efforts and previously co-led our retail banking work in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. Zubin is a prolific creator of new perspectives in both these arenas. His client service has had a global reach, spanning Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, and Mexico.
Zubin’s recent global client experience includes helping clients unlock significant value from sharp strategy pivots and bold M&A, customer journey digitization, advanced analytics to drive risk-adjusted revenue growth, large-scale productivity transformation, and fundamental reduction in risk-weighted assets, non-performing loans, indemnity costs, and operational risk.
Zubin has been a member of McKinsey’s Shareholders Council (our global governance board) where he led the people, personnel committee oversight, partner election, and finance and infrastructure committees. He has recently led the articulation of McKinsey’s purpose and a modernization of its bedrock values.
Zubin was previously based in New York and now lives in London with his wife and daughters. When he was based in New York, Zubin served on the boards of directors for the Asia Society and City Harvest.
