Paul has extensive experience of advising clients across industries on business strategy, transaction strategy, deal execution, carve-out, merger integration, IPO preparation, and other strategy topics.

With a background in investment banking, Paul brings more than a decade of experience in M&A. He has been closely involved in buy-side and sell-side transactions and joint ventures, as well as capital-market transactions including IPOs, capital increases, and convertible and hybrid bonds.

Some of Paul’s recent client projects include the following:

  • advising a European renewables company on developing a holistic-sustainability strategy
  • working on an M&A strategy, deal execution, and merger planning for two European media businesses
  • supporting the execution and integration of a complex merger in the European energy space
  • running carve-out and IPO preparations in the Middle Eastern oil and gas space

In addition to his client work, Paul has written several articles on corporate finance topics. He holds a diploma degree in business administration and mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt.
