Nora leads the Client Capabilities Network (CCN); she sets and executes its strategic client, innovation, and people agenda. The CCN includes more than 2,500 client capabilities professionals located in several hubs around the globe and embedded in different parts of McKinsey, including our industry practices, business functions, and geographies. It comprises researchers, deep domain experts, and professionals building and deploying assets. Many of our client service innovations were born in the CCN.
Nora and her team are responsible for making the Client Capabilities Network thrive through, for example, putting the right enablers in place to best serve our consulting teams and clients, advancing career-path options, leading evaluation processes, evolving pricing models, overseeing hiring and footprint, and working on the right structures, processes, and incentives for innovation and collaboration. She shapes the longer-term strategy, sets direction, promotes best practices and simplification, and leads projects to achieve our aspirations for how we develop, scale, share, and update our knowledge and client capabilities through the network.
In addition, she serves on our firm’s global leadership team, known as the Acceleration Team, as a connector between the different firm areas to help drive and operationalize the overall agenda. She also acts as chief of staff for our global managing partner, Bob Sternfels.
Nora has been with McKinsey since 2004 and stepped out of client work a few years ago to focus on helping the firm transform. Prior to her current role, Nora served clients as a partner in the healthcare sector (payers and providers) with a focus on strategic, operational, and organizational topics.
