Mahir, a Partner based in Abu Dhabi, has been with the firm since 2017. He is a core member of McKinsey’s Digital and Analytics practice and is the leader of our cybersecurity efforts in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mahir has more than 30 years’ experience in Technology. He advises and serves private and public sector clients on the implementation of solutions in the areas of Advanced Analytics and AI, cyber security, and Digital. His deep expertise in technology and business allows him to help clients address challenging problems and deliver sustainable impact. 

Before joining McKinsey, he was a senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, leading its cyber and analytics division in the Middle East and Northern Africa region.

Mahir has a PhD in electrical engineering from University of Maryland and I hold several patents.
