Since joining the firm, Kunwar has helped clients in Asia, Europe, and North America to achieve operations excellence through a holistic approach focused on operations, product development, and purchasing.
Recent examples of Kunwar’s client work include helping an integrated steel manufacturer to realize substantial savings through an integrated approach involving operations, advanced analytics, and corporate governance; leading the restructuring of distressed assets at several Indian steel companies; and spearheading design-to-value-sourcing programs for a leading tractor manufacturer and a major medium and heavy commercial vehicle OEM. Kunwar is also leading the work with the Indian government to help setup Digital Capability Centers, that will act as a catalyst for Industry 4.0 of manufacturing companies across sectors.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Kunwar worked in the IT, information-enabled technology-services, and business-process-outsourcing sectors.
