Karl is a partner in McKinsey’s Stockholm office, where he is one of the leaders in our Private Equity Practice and focuses on financial services.
Karl serves organizations ranging from private equity firms to financial institutions such as traditional universal banks and insurers as well as new fintech challengers—mainly in wealth management and consumer finance. He largely supports clients with corporate finance and strategy studies on topics related to performance reviews, due diligence, portfolio analysis, and transformational-change programs.
Karl has served clients on various topics including advising a leading online trading platform on growth strategy and pricing, supporting a property and casualty insurer on growth and operational excellence, and supporting a Nordic retail bank with a pricing diagnostic and implementation.
